Stayed here for 3 nights. Very clean, spacious rooms with comfortable bed. Located close to everything. The pool was welcome after the hot days and the hot tub was nice after a strenous day of hiking. The Mecca is so homey and relaxing, I can't imagine going elsewhere for a room in Springs. Location is great, actually -- it's just not in downtown Springs, but maybe that's a blessing. This was our second visit to the Mecca Motel because we were completely satisfied the first time which was about 4 years prior. And nothing had changed since then....the staff were very friendly and accomodating. They recommended not only some very nice, affordable restaurants but also where we could get our car washed and they even made reservations for us... more

This motel is clean and basic. No frills, but no icky surprises either. Great deal for the money. Very helpful, friendly staff. It's a little ways away from good restaurant choices, but if you have a car, driving to downtown Manitou or Colorado Springs should be no problem from here. more

Slightly concerned when we first got there, because it is a dated place, but this was quickly resolved when we got to the room. It was extremely clean, great maid services, (we stayed 3 days) excellent location and a fantastic mexican resturant across the street. Would definately stay here again. more
