I thought everything with my hotel was soooo 1970ish, I say that because I was born in 1973. So I know what "Puok Pink" color is, the old small 1979 tub that has been with hotel since it was built. The dark forest green carpeting, that is how you can get past a lot of mysterious stain questions. Just even... More

We actually planned this stay as it was a halfway point and we started after work. And we were thankful we had made the reservations as a storm blew in. However...the room was poor class. Not enough toiet paper (a huge hassel of a story I won't go into) and the room felt dirty. We went for the continental breakfast.... More

Motel roofs are leaking across building underneath hallway and room, carpets are wet, musty and has no padding, bedding and mattresses are stained. Bathroom, sink and bathtub are dirty, toilet is slow running, smelly and seems like exhaust is not working. Shower runs out of water within few minutes and does not have enough pressure. Motel is falling apart and... More

The room had walls that needed painting and parts were scratched. It was just dirty looking everywhere. The only good thing about it was the pool which was a rare one with an actual deep end. I definitely would not recommend it if you have a need for taste.

Booked this room for my folks (Since I travel a lot, I'm their personal travel agent.) Rooms were cold, which wasn't helped by the wind that came through the closed windows. The first room was cold (apparently they don't even try to heat rooms they don't think they'll sell) - the second room got warmer, but that was having the... More

Colorado City is a small town this the hotel really has not been updated since construction (likely in the 1960s). The room was clean, but there appears to be zero padding below the carpet so the floors are hard. The breakfast was pathetic. Only spent one night there and that was enough. It is over 20 miles to the next... More

Found another valuable gem to know about: arrived at almost midnight to a warm, clean, QUIET room that actually faced I-25 but did not hear one noise of traffic or fellow guests during our short stay.....a welcome thing as we were exhausted by time our heads hit the pillow. Mornig breakfast was very simple: cereal, breakfast breads, muffins, juice, limited... More

Tried to make it to Walsenburg but was too tired. $89 was my rate which was pretty expensive for just somewhere to lay my head for 7 hours but anyway. Non-Smoking Room and hallway reeked of smoke. Room was clean. Bed good enough. On a bright note: I always take my own bedding and managed to leave an old family... More

The carpet around the air conditioner area became very wet & musty smelling. I would not recommend this motel for that reason. Also their internet service is very limited if not non existent . Management was not very cooperative. Felt I should gotten some type refund for the inconvenience of the situation. Whiile we have used Days inn's in our... More

ok.......the bed bug review had me worried so first thing there, I checked. whew! no bugs! very clean, very friendly staff. My brother's room was good to go as well. there was buckets in the hall upstairs from leaking (didn't smell too good walking thru) but the rooms were fine. Had dinner in the lounge twice.....very, very good. Kind of... More
