I stood at Fortune Valley for my Birthday. My daughter, son and I had a great experience. The room was decorated with ballons, I felt they really cared about my Birthday. My children were safe and I was able to enjoy myself. We can't wait to stay there again. Not a single thing went wrong. I highly recommed Fortune Valley for... more

We were passing through mid week in mid July, which is likely one of their slowest times. We stayed at the Fortune Valley Casino which was had a great friendly staff and seemed clean with a good price. They had at least one table for each game active and plenty of slots. Our issue was with finding a place to... more

I have stayed at all the Casino hotels in Black Hawk and loved this one the most. I will always go back here. Isle of Capri was dirty and whirlpools need cleaned and are not and havent been even for the free stays they offer, maybe they do that becasue no one wants to pay them anymore. Lodge Casino is... more

I had stayed at The FV Hotel on several occasions, and had never had any problems. But I wasn't watching my credit card statements like I should have! In Jan. of 08 I had stayed there for 4 nights and around March of 08 I started getting charges on my credit card from my Jan. stay!! By the time I... more

I wanted to put in an updated review of Fortune Valley again. This time we stayed for my husband's birthday and we got the best room ever. It was room 440--on the top floor and it has a view towards Central City and also down the hill towards Blackhawk. The room was larger than the others we have stayed in... more

After spending 5 days in Dillon, CO, we decided to stay at this hotel for several reasons: try our luck at some slots/blackjack (won at both), closer to Golden as we planned on touring the Coors Brewery and to be closer to the Denver Airport. Even though they were giving away a car the night we checked in, our rate... more

I love the rooms at Fortune Valley, they are clean and comfortable. However I do not like the casino. I don't care much for the buffet. The location is not the best, I prefer to stay down in Blackhawk although it's not far. more

Central City is one of the most perfectly preserved Old West towns I've ever visited----------I believe the entire place is a designated national historic district. It's located in small valley encircled by steep hills. Old mines, some of them still in operation, dot the slopes above the town. The locale is especially scenic in late September, when the aspen groves... more
