It's a pretty hotel setting and the front desk lady was very nice. The breakfast was good with the waffle maker and yummy treats. When I selected this place I noted "dog-friendly hotel" in its description. But my little 4-lb travel companion had to sleep in the car. Turns out their policy is that only smoking rooms are available for a pet, and they only have four of them -- already occupied. The per dog/per night rate of $15 is excessive. While I understand that some additional cleaning is required to vacuum pet hair, charging $30 per night for two dogs is outrageous. Also the weight limit does not accommodate 65 lb labrador retrievers, of which we have two. The dogs spent the night in the car. Last time I'll stay there.
