We travelled w/ 2, 3 year olds & 1, 2 year old for my brother's wedding. We stayed in the Flagstaff Suite for 6 nights. Awesome. We had a fully equipped kitchen..basics, but fully equipped so we could eat meals there. Think speaghetti & meatballs, frozen pizza, waffles, pancakes, hot dogs, chicken nuggets, meatloaf. Family type meals...there was a toaster... more

This is a budget motel right in front of the park where you can take a dip in the clean mountain stream that flows right into boulder. Wow! The staff was really friendly and helpful, and the rooms cozy and log-cabin-like there was hot water in the office (they're open till 10 pm) Even though just beyond the park is... more

Lovely little motel right next to Boulder Creek. Knotty pine walls and individual heaters. No air conditioning, but we didn't need it during our stay. The staff is very friendly, and they offer coffee, fruit and danishes in the morning at the office. An extremely pleasant place to stay. more

My husband and I stayed the first week of May. I had never been to this motel before and I was very pleasantly surprised! Our first trip to Boulder we spent nearly double what the Foot of the Mountain charges, and we didn't have as nice a view. The only, very minor things I didn't like were some of the... more

I stayed here in Oct 2009 . I was flying in from the uk for a tai chi seminar in Boulder. When I arrived late on the thursday evening after being dropped off by the Boulder shuttle I was warmly greeted by the manager at the desk. He went through the map with me telling me where would be the... more

I stayed here one night. The front desk staff was friendly, and the location was quiet and secluded, adjacent to the Boulder bicycle path. It's a rustic lodge-style structure that lends itself to the ambiance of the mountains. more

Boulder is an expensive place to stay, and Foot of the Mountain is refreshingly economical (we paid $90 a night). If you're not looking for a top-of-the-line, pamper-me-like-i'm-a-princess type experience, you cannot go wrong with this charming little place. The rooms are perfect--cozy, extremely clean, with soft, clean linens and towels. I thought the wood paneling was fun and distinguished... more

We were disappointed in our stay here for three nights. Reading other reviews, I think reviewers are not looking at this property objectively. First of all, the staff (you see only the front desk person, who changes often) is friendly. Sort of. That said, this place reminds me of what you would get if you stayed at one of those... more

If you want fancy, this isn't the place, but my family loved it here. The motel is right across the street from a public park through which Boulder Creek runs. In the summer you can tube down the creek. Also going through the park is a walking path that takes you along the creek to 9th street -- just a... more

We stayed here for three nights in May. For hiking the location was great as you could do some hikes starting from the hotel. Also, the river below is nice. The staff were great and the motel was nice and clean. I rate this only average, because it is in fact, an older rustic property with charm -- but not... more
