This Hotel is a great Alternative to the Ameristar. It is priced perfectly but you won't feel like you skimped on your Black Hawk Gambling Trip. It is virtually center located and Hooked onto The Isle Casino and Lady Luck Casino buy indoor walk way land bridges. It is easy to get around and you will like the clean, updated... More

Went to Black Hawk for an overnight getaway. Booked the hotel 20 minutes before leaving. Parking was plentiful and free. Valet was available. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to a special request. The room was very nice. Free Wifi had good connection speed in the afternoon but slowed a bit at night due traffic, I imagine. Close access... More

We were very impressed with the room. Gleamingly clean bathroom and bed etc. Coffee making facilities and 2 candies on the bed awaiting us. Nice flat screen television and wonderfully dark blackout curtains to aid sleep if you want that lie-in in the morning after a night at the casinos. Would highly recommend staying here. Infact we are going to... More

We have stayed here 3 times since Nov. and each time it was a nightmare. The first room had missing lampshades, tub that wouldn't drain, and a ceiling fan that didn't work. Then that night in the hallway there were lots of college kids. The second time, they put us in the same room, which was not fixed even though... More

This hotel was decent. Fairly average accomodations - nice renovations inside. The beds weren't particularly comfortable so I wouldn't recommend a long stay, but for a night or two...it's not bad. The service was okay too. Nice front desk people but the housekeeping didn't have it all together. We had ordered a roll-away bed ahead of time and didn't get... More

Our family decided to go to blackhawk for an overnight excursion. I have stayed at both Isle of Capri and Ameristar and tried to make reservations at either of these but were sold out. I was however, able to book 3 rooms at the Lady Luck. Based on the reviews I was really expecting an interesting experience in a dismal... More

I was looking for a room on the cheaper side for our stay in Black Hawk, since we knew we wouldn't be spending much time there anyway. The room was relatively clean, but the part that really bothered me was that there was a chunk of something encrusted on the bedspread, which we later figured out was a piece of... More

Rooms look like they were upgraded in 2001, the first room we were given was right next to the elevator and had a noisy sink drain. We called the front desk to complain and were quickly reassigned. The only other hotel we've stayed at in BH is the Ameristar and the Isle/Lady Luck doesn't even come close on any level.

Hotel was very clean and up to date. Food in restaurant and buffet was excellent. Selection of slot machines was great - most of the new machines - and we won more than we lost. Reminded us of downtown Las Vegas - lots of casinos within walking distance.
