We were in town for a family event and stayed 2 nights at the Berthoud Inn. The inn is just what you would expect to find when looking for a relaxing B&B experience. Had a great stay and the innkeeper, Mark Chafee, was a wonderful host and fantastic chef for our gourmet breakfasts. In fact, on our final day we... More

We spent two weeks at the Berthoud Bed & Breakfast. The Innkeeper (Mark) became like family. Hospitality is marvelous, food is wonderful. If you're interested in Northern Colorado and enjoy the small farm town vibe ... this is the place for you!!

We had an excellent experience at the Berthoud Inn. The breakfast was outstanding, and the inn was very cozy and relaxing. There is a very nice backyard to enjoy the CO sunshine.

The Berthoud Inn is a beautifully decorated Victorian era home located on the edge of the quiet town of Berthoud, Colorado. The rooms and common areas of the inn are decorated elegantly, with many themed guest rooms. We stayed in the Deco Room and absolutely loved it -- a sparklingly clean room with lots of space and so much attention... More

If you love love Breakfast....Mark serves up the best. Plan to workout afterwards! Great morning breakfast conversations with people from all over the U.S. (the world). Very comfortable accomodations, relaxed, clean and beautiful grounds. Safe area to jog/walk around at night and in morning! The only place to stay in Berthoud and surrounding areas...easy access to the mountains!

We stayed in the Egyptian room, which was cozy and very fun...we loved all of the little touches, including the Egyption robes hanging in the closet and the heiroglyphic paintings on the tub and sink. The breakfast was incredible!!! Great experience!!

Innkeeper Mark has a wonderful venue for his chef talents in this comfortable Victorian original B&B in down home Berthoud, Colorado. It's a perfect stop between Denver and the Rocky Mountain National Park area for those like me who are altitude challenged coming from sea level and who enjoy being in the spirit of the west instead of a chain... One of the best B & B we've stayed at anywhere! Mark was super host. Breakfast beyond anything we have had before. I suggest Berthoud be renamed as a None-tourist destination, a great chance to meet locals and relaxe.

I normally stay at the usual Marriottwhiltoncourtuardetc business traveler hotels but for the Berthoud area I always stay here. The breakfast alone is worth it, but if you like big old Victorian houses this is the only place for you. Each room has a different decorating theme. The owner and host used to run restaurants and the breakfast shows it.... More
