I came to look at the resort as a possible place to hold a large family reunion. The office staff was rude both when I made the reservation and also when I asked questions about renting the whole place the day I was there. When I came in the office she was yelling at someone on the phone for dialing... More

I didn't even get to stay here. I tried to but when I had to cancel due to a family surgery, they told me I had to pay 10%. Ouch... Please note, I wasn't told that when I made the reservation... but ok... I canceled 24 hours after making the reservation - and it is their policy. So fine -... More

We stayed in Cabin 5 with a very nice deck. The cabin however was very outdated. Fully furnished kitchen with a coffee pot but no filters, no papertowels, no salt, pepper or ice cube tray. The mattress was horrible, the couch was very dirty, we put the dog blanket on it to sit. The window, you could barely see out... More

Stayed over the weekend and we all had a great time. Awesome place to stay, staff was very helpful and friendly. The owner is a volunteer medic which I thought was great!!! I was wondering why there was an ambulance on the property. grounds are very well kept and clean. Cabins are just way cool, tent sites are very large... More

We stayed in Cabin 4 with 5 people. While a bit crowded, it met our needs, however, the kitchen is equipped with a very small refrigerator for a week long stay. Staff is friendly and accessible and responsive to service requests. Fire pits and charcoal grills are available in the resort. We claimed a Weber at the beginning of our... More

We stayed at the Poudre River Resort this summer for a week. The resort is located on the river and there is enough distance between the cabins and road that noise isn't a problem. We were in cabin 12 for the first 2 days and found it nice, tho the bathroom was small. The rest of our time was spent... More

I spent a lot of time planning my trip to Colorado with lots of side trips from the base camp at Archer's Resort. Next time I go-forget the side trips-I'll just stay in the canyon! This is one of only two places open all year for lodging in the canyon. They have a very friendly staff who graciously answered all... More
