A super friendly front desk clerk doesn't make up for rooms that are feeling run down and a bit grimy. Great price, but I don't plan to stay here again--I'll try the Hi Lo Motel across the street.

I'm not into fancy hotels when I'm travelling. Clean and cheap are my biggest qualifications for a room. However, this place was a really nice surprise and we'd gladly go back.
It doesn't look like much from the outside, at all. The stairs on the looker's right end of the balcony belong in a funhouse, with a caution sign to...

I don't usually do reviews on places, but I have to tell y'all about the Townhouse Motel in Weed, CA. If you are heading up to Mt Shasta for hiking, snowboarding or snow skiing..you owe it to yourself and your budget to stay at The Townhouse Motel.
While at first glance it doesn't look like much, the rooms are impeccably...

Although the room was small, it was very clean & comfortable. We got a good night's sleep and the new showers/baths are great! Very accomodating management, too. The best place for the price!
I think that the town house is a nice place to stay the price is good the rooms are clean and the seaverce is good i would reacamend to be stay there
It's a great place to stop for the budget-minded traveler. My son and I had a nice clean room with two beds. Road noise was not a problem. It was a mild night, so we did not need the AC, but we ran the fan on low all night to circulate some air and were quite comfortable. There was ample...

Basic room, basic service. This was just a pit stop for my wife & me enroute to Crater Lake. We would choose not to stay here again as room needs serious updating, beds were uncomfortable, continental breakfast was only available when manager had the office door unlocked, briefly. Expected more for the money we spent and there really wasn't much...

Dead bolt did not work. Air conditioning had two settings even though there were 6 stops- too loud and off. Towels were from Jr high gym class. Etc etc.
I stayed here based on the positive reviews and the attractive room price. Room was good sized and clean. Bathroom could use some updating and the walls were thin (I could hear a regular conversation in the adjoining room later on at night) but those were my main complaints. You can't hear the Interstate from the rooms but you can...

Like other reviewers here, I found this on TA and noted its consistent and favorable reviews. I was on a budget burn run to Eugene, Oregon from San Francisco, and I didn't want any unpleasant surprises. I booked the room by calling directly, and when I walked in, tired and hungry, the owner greeted me by name! I had asked...
