There was broken glass in the parking lot, overflowing trash in the outside stairwell, and people loitering day and night in the outside stairwell. When I mentioned these things to the proprietor, he acted as if they weren't problems. The hotel had a very creepy feeling. And - the only breakfast option was a packaged pastry that tasted very stale.
