This is a wonderful quaint little hotel right on Donner Lake. Each room opens up to the lake and there's a wonderful deck you walk out onto that is shared with other guests but there's plenty of room to feel on your own. The owners and manager are wonderful, accommodating people and will make sure your stay is very pleasant.

This small lodge on Donner Lake was just what we were looking for! The staff were very helpful-we needed to borrow a cooler and they found one for us. The room was compact but just right for two. A nice family owned place with old fashioned but updated rooms. Great views over Donner Lake and a nice hot tub.They have small but well equipped kitchenettes but the bathrooms are a bit small. Lots of old style wood panelling from a bygone, and much preferrable, era. Not cheap but still good value.
