The Northstar Lodge is a beautiful resort. The rooms are beautifully decorated in "lodge-style" with high ceilings and a lot of gorgeous wood. They are spacious and contain everything you need: water pitchers, filtered water, cocktail shaker, tons of glassware and plate ware, washer/dryer, etc. The bathrooms are also beautiful and the towels are the best I've ever used. Gorgeous Residence. We stayed in a two bedroom; over 1,000 SF. Plenty of space for a family of four to sprawl out and be comfortable. Beautifully furnished. CLEAN. Luxurious. Our first time to NorthStar (Spring break skiing) and we loved it. I wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else in this cozy & quaint little town. Adjacent to the Village but... More

What a beautiful place. Conveniently near the village but away from the noise of the village. Wonderful apartments though a little pricey. Some of the service staff were wonderful - in particular Ronnie. Others could learn a thing or two from Ronnie. Overall would highly recommend it. We'll be back for sure.

Stayed during a summer weekend. What a beautiful resort! Accomodations are new and lovely. Room service for breakfast, accommodating and tastey. Our whole group took the gondola up the mountain for great hiking, while the teens road mountain bikes down. The village offers rollerskating and trampoline-fun! We barbequed at common-area grills and ate back at our condo unit. Looking forward... More

We are just winding up another great 2 week stay at the Northstar Lodge. We had beautiful weather and great ski conditions for most of the trip - Vail Resorts invested heavily in snow making equipment this year and it really paid off for those who weren't scared away by the weather reports. We have been coming to Northstar for... More

Hyatt NS had GREAT suites for just a couple or for families. It was the off season so NS area was quite dead. But the resort itself was nice. Hot tubs were kind of gross. There were NorthStar Resort hot tubs and a workout center they shared with the Hyatt that were much better. Nice little porches with fire places.... More

My wife and I stayed 4 nights 2/8 - 2/12 in a studio. It was very new, with a comfortable king-size bed, fireplace, small kitchen and shower (no tub unfortunately). The location was next to the Northstar village and walking distance to the slopes. The Ritz-Carlton gondola was right next door and provided great access to the Manzanita restaurant at... More

We really enjoyed our stay this past weekend at the Northstar Hyatt. We received an owners discount which saved a bit of money but still ended up paying about $500 per night. I've always found these reviews helpful so let me pass on my 2 cents. STAFF - extremely courteous, friendly, and willing to help. We stayed in a unit... More

Why the low rating? Where do I start? First, there are many hotels in the village that are more convenient. As a diamond hyatt member my inclination is to go hyatt but I would not again. The ski valet is in a very inconvenient location-- you are hiking up or down stairs to reach it to/from skiing because they allow... More
