Centrally located in Lake Tahoe City, within easy walking distance to several restaurants. Nice clean rooms - the walls VERY thin though, so sounds from neighbouring rooms comes through loud and clear. "Breakfast" is below standard, but a VERY good breakfast restaurant is 'just around the corner' Compared to other alternatives around Lake Tahoe this is really a bargain at... more

I was looking for a low priced but nice 2 star hotel in Tahoe City for a cycling trip. This place was very nice with incredibly clean rooms. The staff was very professional, accommodating, and helpful. For 70 dollars a night, this place is a steal especially when you consider how expensive the area is. I strongly recommend this hotel... more

Go someplace else: We chose this place to house members of our wedding party and guests because it was recommended. When we called to check up on how things were going, and we've found out that they had completely screwed up everybody's reservations and didn't apply any of the discounts they had promised. We had asked (Richard) for the owner... more

The rooms were pretty old and you could see wallpaper bubbling up at the edges. A little depressing, but if you're not in your room that long it's not a problem. The rooftop deck is right on the street and has a view of the lake, but the hot tub looked dirty. I would spend a little more next time... more

This hotel is pretty simple but it's a travel lodge not the Ritz. Tahoe of course is great! The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. No complaints. more

Kind of pricy, but it was one of those "I am going to stop at the very next hotel that I see, no matter what" days. Of course, there later turned out to be many other choices just down the street. Oh well. At one point, I asked a reasonable question at the desk and was treated like I was... more

This hotel is strictly a money making operation with no sense of providing a pleasant experiece for their guests. Way over priced compared to the rather nice hotels nearby, they mostly fill up when all the other rooms in town are taken. About ten of the rooms face a white concrete wall only 4 feet from your window, and are... more

Stayed 1 night early August 2004. Excellent location, just over the road from Lake Tahoe. Many rooms back onto the golf course. Many restaurants and shops to choose from nearby. Very helpful staff and manager. Good Price and Good choice to stay here. more

Very clean, very pleasant rooms, excellent location in a beautiful setting, and not expensive. After two weeks of traveling in the west coast we could say that this was one of the places that gave us the best value for our money. more
