“quiet, romantic, yet close to everything in town”

We had a very quiet and romantic stay at this very comfortable inn in the heart of Tahoe City. Delicious breakfasts, we met interesting people, and enjoyed the most relaxing beds. Plus we could walk to all of the Lake Tahoe activities in town, including fabulous restaurants such as Coyotes and Wolfdales. We will tell all of our friends.

First time to Tahoe City and it was made extremely pleasant by the quaint and comfortable accomodations at the Mayfield House. Location was excellent; could walk to several of our destinations within Tahoe City.

Very pleasant place to stay. We were served breakfast outside and it was delish. Sweet innkeeper very attentive to our needs and great with recommendations for dinner-we ended up walking to a great dinner. Our bed was very comfortable.

We had a great time here-we could walk EVERYWHERE in town and not have to deal with our car. Cool old historic place, but comfotable, not prissy. I am a snacker and they have lots of good homemade stuff. Was able to use my laptop with their high speed wireless.
