We spent a week in the Woodcutter's Cottage and loved every minute of it! We especially enjoyed our breakfast of seasonal fruits, cheese, bakery fresh breads & pasteries, and fresh eggs served on our private patio. Donna and her lovely staff were most accomodating, the gardens absolutely breathtaking, full of beautiful flowers and colorful birds. An easy walk to downtown... More

What a charming place. The gardens are just beautiful, with a peaceful fountain and paths winding through flowers and trees. Breakfast, which you can enjoy indoors or in the garden, is healthy, delicious and very satisfying; I especially liked the homemade strawberry jam and the wide variety of fresh fruit and berries. The owner and staff are lovely and friendly.... More

My stay here was the most enjoyable and relaxing. The hospitality shown us was top notch and the helpful suggestions on what to see and where to go were much appreciated. i personally will treasure my time spent in the garden which has inspired me to get out and do more in my own. Such a peaceful, beautiful bed and breakfast. Complementary sherry and homemade persimmon and chocolate chip cookies. Nice private pool and garden, cozy bedrooms. Best, most nutritious breakfast you could ask for from any restaurant. The owner, and the employees took care of everything for us. More

Great location in walking distance to restaurants and shops, but the Inn itself and staff needs some TLC. The gardens are lovely, but upon touring the property at check-in, we were warned of a bee problem by the pool. The pool looks as old as the property with signs of needed maintenance work. The owner/inn keeper boasted that the inn... More

The grounds at the B & B are very pretty, but that's about the only thing we enjoyed. Our room was in great need of an upgrade. The bathroom was so tiny it was almost impossible to use. The breakfast did not feature any cooked items and while the staff was very nice and helpful, the owner wasn't friendly. At... More

My girlfriend and I spent 3 fantastic days at The Victoria Garden Inn. The surroundings in the garden and the room was just amazing and we enjoyed every minute of it. The service was more than you could ask for. Smiles all day long and a friendly atmosphere. They were so kind in recommending places to go and the personal... More

My husband and I booked this bed and breakfast the day before (luckily we were in during the less busy season). We were pleasantly surprised with our find! The room was nice and had plenty of room to store our belongings, the staff was very courteous, and we were within a SHORT walk of Sonoma's beautiful square with an old... More

My husband and I stayed here (Oct.3-) for one nite for our Honeymoon on our way through California... We thought we would be staying in a nice, romantic B&B in Sonoma... Boy, we were WRONG. Well first it started when we tried to cancel our room b/c we were 7 hours south of Somoma and didn't think we could make... More

My huuband and I first visited the Victorian Garden Inn in July 1998 for part of a Honeymoon trip. We have just completed a trip celebrating our 10th anniversary (a bit early) and the Garden Inn was on the itinerary. It was just as wonderful as it was 10 years ago. We highly recommend this as a very special place... More
