I would recommend the Cooperage Inn to anyone. Claudia(the owner) was great, breakfast at your door each morning, beautiful antique decor, and a close walk to the square. Our room was great- plenty of room, including a living/sitting area. Simplicity with character.

We had reserved this inn for it's location. We loved the idea of being right in town. However, when we got there we could not stay. The inn smelled so musty that it made us physically ill. The owners were distressed that we were unhappy but were unyielding regarding a refund. We were very lucky to be able to find... More

Another converted historic building in the wine country -- but this one really works. There are only 3 suites, and we stayed in the Milano, a 1-bedroom with a large double-sink bath and a fully-stocked country kitchen. Not that you'll need the kitchen for breakfast, which is on the house (and pretty good, too). These are quaint Victorian-style suites, lots... More

On our most recent trip to the Wine Country, the #1 qualification I had for our lodging was that it would be on Sonoma Square. I LOVE being able to do wine tastings and shopping and not have to drive around (Napa area has the highest DUI rate in the country, no surprise). I was REALLY excited about staying in... More

My husband and I were in California for our 25th wedding anniversary.. We spent two of the 10 nights in California at The Cooperage Inn. Honestly, when we drove up to it, I wasn't sure what to think. The building itself was a square, white building with some flowering window boxes. It certainly did not look like an inn. Upon... More

Our stay in August 2012 was perfect. The furnishings give you a stepping back in time experience. The innkeepers make you feel welcome and do a wonderful job with this B&B. The antiques are gorgeous. Having a kitchen made it nice for eating and enjoying the breakfast served each day at 8:00 am. The location near the town makes it... More

Adorable little inn. We stayed in the Bonnemort suite. All of the furniture are antiques. Sitting room has a small fridge, coffee maker, and microwave so you can have a snack or a light meal in the suite. Breakfast was prepared fresh and delicious every day! The bedroom was on the smaller side but just fine given that we also... More

Claudia the proprietor is so welcoming and our room was clean and comfortable. We felt very safe, even slept with the windows open.

Stayed in the Bonnemort Suite for 3 nights and enjoyed our stay. Yes, this is an old building with antique furnishings but that is what makes it so unique and memorable. We had plenty of room, way more than a standard hotel room. Loved that the bathroom has a double sink. The shower took a little getting used to but... More

I went to Sonoma with two other friends for our 30th birthdays. We stayed at the Cooperage Inn, in the Bonnemort Suite. It was large enough for all three of us. The Inn was very quaint and peaceful. It is an ideal location if you want to stay near the plaza in Sonoma. The owners were very nice and helpful.... More
