My husband and I stayed here last week for 5 nights. The staff was very pleasant and the room was nice. The grounds are pretty - even though it was cold out, we enjoyed sitting in the pool lounge area with the gas fire pits with a glass of wine. The shuttle service was very convenient. We did walk back... More

We stayed here last August. I really like this hotel. It is located in an odd spot though, right before downtown sonoma which makes the location really convenient but behind it is residential, but it didn't bother us. Everyone we encountered at the hotel was really friendly. They have a free shuttle that goes to downtown Sonoma. This renaissance is... More

We stayed at the Lodge over the weekend, and we enjoyed the hotel - the grounds and the hotel facilities are well kept, I guess to be expected of a Resorts' standard. I liked the Cottage rooms in particular, spacious with a fireplace. There were 3 of us and we had 2 double beds - didn't realize until we checked... More

Stayed here recently on business but would return for a pleasure trip. The room was spacious, well appointed and included a fireplace and soaking tub. Very nice touches. Didn't get a chance to eat in the restaurant, but the catered events were very good. More

We have stayed at the Lodge at Sonoma several times but I never had the chance to write a review. The Lodge has been through some ups and downs over the years and various management changes dictated (and one would presume the parent company Marriott dictated) changes, no changes, upgrades to the property, etc. However, this stay was very nice... My husband and I stayed at the Lodge in January. It was fantastic!!! We stayed in a cottage room and enjoyed the bathtub and fireplace. The grounds of the lodge are really nice and kept up. The staff were all so kind and helpful. The shuttle service to and from the "sqaure" is really nice and free. We didn't want... More

We had an absolutely great time at The Lodge. Great room at a great price. The staff was gracious. Location was close enough to drive to Napa restaurants/wineries without any trouble. Sonoma downtown just a couple blocks away. Our room had a fireplace and soaking tub with separate shower. Very comfortable and welcoming. While we didn't use the hot tub... More

My friends and I stayed here for one night while on a tour of wine country. I booked a cottage suite with 2 queen size beds. This room was perfect for us. The cottage rooms are detached from the main hotel, you walk through the gardens or around the pool area to get access to the cottage and then once... More

The hotel has a restaurant with a great Napa / Sonoma wine list. It's comfortable and convenient to "downtown" Sonoma. Solid rooms. More

We recently booked 3 rooms for a 2 night getaway. Our family includes a toddler and 2 infants, 7 weeks and 5 weeks old, and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We actually travel as a family to many international places but since the family has been growing, we've been sticking around, closer to home. It was our first trip... More
