This place is a real DUMP. To start, the staff is unhelpful and discourteous. The girl behind the counter, Kat, was really unhelpful. The rooms were pretty drafty, which is not comfortable when there are cold mountain gusts outside. The staff got us blankets, begrudgingly, but brought them three hours after we asked for them. The ceiling in our room... more

Disheartened and abit surprised at the bad reviews.. My brother married his American Sweetheart here six years ago... It was fab, the host Richard was great, he had the place stocked with Guinness and was amazed at the widget in the can which he took and put with all his other weird and wonderful inventions and trinkets he had. The... more

The inn seems to have really gone downhill since the new owners took over a few years ago. There doesn't seem to be much upkeep and it looks shabby and dated and not worth the rates. Had stayed there a few years ago and it was delightful but it's since been sold and our trip back in January was disappointing.... more

unfortunately our 2nd trip to the storybook inn was not as magical as the first. the first sign that things were off was that it was empty for the weekend. 2nd was that there previously wonderful restaurant was not open for their sunday brunch and empty during the dinner hour (we think their great chef has left for greener pastures).... more

This Inn had some nice qualities still. The views from here were just breath-taking. The location is great and close to all surrounding mountain communities. This inn featured in-house dining and a nice common living room for guests as well. They also had many outdoor activities to chose from, movies and games to borrow - snacks and drinks available too.... more

I stopped off at the Storybook Inn with my family after a long circuitous route through California, Arizona, Southern Utah and Nevada last year. The night before we left LA for the UK we needed a relaxed and comfortable place to rest up. The Storybook Inn more than met our requirements. The host was both genial and accommodating and the... more

The Storybook is the most inviting inn in the area. Other Hotels and B&Bs have strict rules or inflexible accomodations. The Storybook was able to accomodate our entire family for the weekend and it felt like the 10-bed room house was all ours. The hosts are friendly and professsional and take good service seriously. There is an on-site resteraunt that... more

I couldn't have asked for a better B&B stay than the one I had at the Storybook Inn. It provided a very 'home away from home' feeling and the people there were the most amiable that I have encountered in this business for ages. My room had an amazing view, the food was great, and it was nice being able... more

I had to stay here only because a higher class B & B that we wanted was booked. The owner has the personality of an egg carton. He was lively with guests that he liked and apparently those that drop and additional $150 per night for average "fine" dining at the B & B. The morning breakfast was appaling! Powdered... more

We try to please all our guests but unfortunately 1% are unhappy people. Never mentioned any problems with food, service or accommodations to my wife, myself or staff and we find it difficult to correct problems of which we are unaware. We have NEVER served powdered eggs in fact my wife makes fresh Quiches daily and our nice breakfast buffet...

Overrated, with owner exhibiting false bonhomie and a penchant for nastiness to certain guests not his favorites. more

Being a resort destination, Christmas Week is a difficult one and we get very little sleep trying to meet all our customers needs. Sorry if this guest felt slighted due to my interaction with more outgoing repeat customers.
