We stopped here on our motorcycle tour from LA to Atlanta. Since we planned on riding through Death Valley on our way to Vegas, Shoshone was a great starting point. The Inn itself is simply furnished, but very clean with good working WiFi and a very friendly staff, so more than adequate and much better than we expected. The little... More

this is the most run down place I have ever stayed! Dirty, broken down and shabby. yuck! Motel 6 is a castle compared to this place! Beware. Pahrump is only a few miles away, save yourself the headache and stay there. Room cost almost double of those in Pahrump, and they are a much better value and at least you... More

We stayed here when we were on our way back to L.A from Las Vegas. We didn't mean to come here and we knew nothing about the area but it was a pleasant surprise. Compared to the built up cities of Las Vegas and Los Angeles, it was so cute. We stayed in this hotel for just a night -... More

Oh, thank you so much for your nice review and your kind words about our little town we love. It always nice when an unplanned side trip off the beaten path ends up being a memorable adventure. True, Shoshone hasn't a single huge sky scraper, we were blessed with beautiful huge skies instead. So happy you enjoyed your time here... More

. . .Located at the S. E. end of Death Valley this is a Great Place to spend a few nights to see some local sights: Armagosa River, Dublin Caves, local hot springs, China Ranch ( best tasting dates ever!!! ) and the local warm spring water Swimming Pool! Campground has full hookups & decent shower / restroom / laundry... More

In November 2012, we stayed at Shoshone Inn because Delight's was all booked up. So we decided to stay nearby in Shoshone and get a day pass for Delight's. When we arrived at Shoshone Inn, the woman in the office was friendly and made us feel very welcomed. My husband and I stayed in one of the rooms in the... More

We spent two nights at the Shoshone Inn as we were hiking southern end of Death Valley NP. The beds were not very comfortable and mattress made a lot of noise if you get up in the middle of the night. Rooms are dated as the bldg is old but the rooms are clean and the service is friendly.

The staff was friendly and the free wi-fi worked well, but those are the only good things I can say. We knew Shoshone was a tiny town, but it was close to the entrance to Death Valley and was supposed to have a cafe. When we arrived at 4pm, we were informed that the only cafe was closed and we... We originally planned to stay at Delights Resort, they were over booked and the folks at Delights were kind enough to find us a room close by but at a much higher rate. The rooms were small, smelly, dirty and gross. The one bright spot was the friendly waitresses, Cheryl, who works across the street at “The Crowbar” café. If... More

This was only the second time we had hooked up our RV on our two week tour. We arrived quite late but the office was still open & we booked a site. It was fairly quiet & we had a lovely easy spot under some trees. The lady in the office was really helpful & there was lots of literature... More

We booked 2 rooms for 2 nights to tour Death Valley - we paid in advance but checked out after one night. Rooms grubby and shabby; one bedside table; reading light positioned just over your head in bed; TV controlled by lightswitch!!;just paper cups in "kitchen". - you needed to ask at the office for anything else (we did-no bottle...
