Exceeded expectations. Polite, warm hosts, nice breakfast, delicious coffee, lovely parlor and excellent rooms. Pleasant grounds to walk a little. Reviewers note it is on a busy road, but it felt quiet and being on the route was convenient for getting around. Very helpful hosts with recommendations, etc. Request for a non-down blanket was not a problem.

We stayed here for two nights in October while visiting wine country. I would love to go back! We stayed in the Garden View room since there were three of us and it has an extra bed. Plenty of space! And decorated so nicely (the whole house is). Pam and Mike are fantastic innkeepers and made us feel so well-taken-care-of.... More

My 10 year-old daughter and I went here for a Mom & Me getaway and had the best time. The B&B is beautiful, clean, and so comfortable. The owners are so sweet and helpful. Stayed in the adjacent guesthouse. Nice loft and bed. Fireplace with real wood...a nice touch. Only room with a TV. Great jacuzzi bath. Unable to stand for shower though. Nice kitchen. A real comfort after a day of wine tasting. Some noise from county highway heard.

Our second visit here. Lovely Inn, large rooms, great breakfasts with pleasant and entertaining hosts. Great location near many winery tasting rooms. Just about as good as B&B's get.

The Gables is a beautiful Victorian Inn. However, it is located on a very busy road. We stayed in the Sunrise Room in the front of the inn and it was very noisy. There was traffic late into the night and early in the morning. I don't know if a room in the back of the inn would be quieter.... More
