The Glen Tavern Inn is located between two major interstates, in Santa Paula, CA. It is a restored 1920's Inn with quite a history of famous visitors. (John Wayne, Houdini, Rin Tin Tin). Thwas decorated for Halloween with taste.e rooms are quaint and comfortable with detail paid to comfort and coziness. The lobby is a gathering place with many antiques... more

When I first entered my room, the TV was on! That gave me a weird feeling. There was only a little bit of toilet paper left on the roll. I ran out of toilet paper and couldn't find another roll anywhere. The window was wide open too, and late at night when I came in ready to get into bed,... more

After reading the great reviews and checking the website, we made the reservation. We were in the Ventura County area to do a bicycle ride on Saturday. Since we had to get up early, we planned on eating breakfast in the room. The website listed refrigerators and coffee makers are amenities in each room. We had neither. There was a... more

My husband and I truly loved this place. The Innkeepers have kept the beautiful original 100-year-old fixtures in the lobby and replicated wherever possible to keep the beautiful vintage ambience. There are no two rooms exactly alike and we intend to go back and stay in some of the other rooms just for fun. The bed was comfortable and the... more

This was honestly one of the most relaxing and memorable weekends of my life. I was hoping for a "weekend getaway" with my boyfriend and we stumbled upon the Glenn Tavern in Santa Paula. Upon checking in, the front desk clerk enchanted us with the glorious history of the inn and the city. We had requested a renovated jacuzzi room... more

I needed to go to Ventura for a business trip and found this hotel in Santa Paula (only 15 min away from Ventura). I dislike commerical cookie cutter hotels and decided to give this hotel a try. The hotel is 100+ years old its very unique and mysterious. The staff was very kind and helpful. Its very cozy and I... more

Wow! Talk about bang for your buck. The Staff was awesome, very welcoming and informative. The rooms were huge and freshly renovated, which i requested. The main street is walking distance with an irish pub and coffee shop. We will definitely return! more

Horrible experience. We booked a two night stay with the mystery dinner theater and ended up leaving after midnight after only being in the hotel a few hours. We had the penthouse suite, which was dirty and oddly designed. Starting about 10:00 PM, a loud party began in the "apartments," which are actually attached to the hotel. The party involved... more
