The hotel was clean and the location was great. It was way too expensive for what it was... there was no real sense of oppulence as you usually get with a JW Marriott. Spent a week at the hotel during the recent American Film Market. Arrived in LA very early in the morning after a red-eye flight. Did not sleep on the flight, and at check in, hoped my room would be ready. I stayed on points. This is rated by Marriott as a level "8" which means it took a lot of my points. For that rating I expected much better service.
