We had a fabulous experience. The location is amazing--close to the beach, the funky coffee shops on Main St, 3rd St. Promenade. It is nice to have a one bedroom suite at a reasonable price for such a great location. We would definitely return.

Location is the strongest thing going for this hotel. It has a friendly informative staff, clean comfortable rooms, and a good array of amenities. A good solid stay. A better bet that a cheaper version as you know what you are getting and everything is clean, works and has efficient, mostly friendly, staff. A short walk to the best of Santa Monica and whilst near the highway, we could not hear a thing in the room.

But! I booked (and paid more for) a partial ocean view about 6 weeks earlier. We were put into a city view room without any comment being made, When I questioned it, we were told there were no more partial ocean views available. Nice hotel good spacious rooms breakfast was good as it was included. My only regret is that it was a bit of a walk to the shopping area and even further to the pier and ocean. The water pressure in the shower was good
