Obviously for the price your not gonna get the best but I liked it here. Free wifi, about 76 tv Channels, clean rooms, includes breakfast and parking though breakfasts are a bit rubbish. The area was good too, only a 1 dollar bus ride to Venice beach or Santa Monica pier. More

The pictures made me a bit skeptical, however when we arrived from a long 7 hour drive at 11PM we were happily surprised. Desk clerk was nice, friendly, and helpful. Stayed here for three nights in August 2011. The room we had was clean, well presented and had everything we needed. The wireless internet worked well in our room. Clean rooms - not huge but big enough. Plenty of parking. Breakfast was very poor. Value good. Location good though you'll need your own car - plenty of reasonable parking at Santa Monica beach etc but it is a 10 minute drive (which isn't bad for LA). Would stay again given the price. More

Most hotels surrounding Santa Monica are either expensive or offer very poor value for money. The Comfort Inn gave good value for a good location and the standards you would expect from such a chain hotel. The pool was a touch small and the rooms a little dated, but otherwise no real complaints at all. More
