Loved this boutique hotel in Santa Monica. Early check in was available when I arrived from Australia, complete with complimentary room upgrade. Even though this hotel is back from the Pier and 3rd street Promenade, they were still easily accessible by either hotel push bike or the hotel's London cab. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. We were recommended to The Ambrose by friends and enjoyed our stay (family of 4 with kids 8, 10). The hotel is clean and quiet with a relaxed feel and professional, helpful staff. The free shuttle offers a great service when heading out, and a quick phone call to arrange a pick up made life easy when time to return.... More

Very helpful staff, with nice clean rooms and the London Cab that drops you off around Santa Monica is great. Free parking is also a rarity in LA. The only complaints I have are the breakfast was complimentary, but not even worth that, and I could hear the bathroom toilet and shower in the room above. More

I like to stay in Santa Monica while I'm in LA for business, and the Ambrose fit my needs. Well priced rooms plus free parking, wi fi and breakfast made my stay enjoyable and affordable. Nice staff. Rooms had minor wear and tear and outdated tube tvs. I would definitely stay again while in town. More
