Unhelpful rude staff… Not a place I would ever stay again

Stayed here for just one night in a private four person room. The rooms were clean and spacious and the beds were comfy. Although we didn't make use of them, the hostel appeared to have good communal facilities such as a kitchen and laundry room. Family and back packer friendly. Nice rooms. The lock out is slightly annoying but not too bad - keep the noise down and u can come home late :)

This a quiant and charming hostel on a very quite main st that is very close to everything. The hostel is very laid back, clean and has everything a hostel could want-these guys checked boxes on all the hostel amenities list.

In regards to why the rules are in place, I think this hostel had made it quite clear. They are also a non-profit org, so having desk staff all day isn't very possible.
