I stayed here for 2 nights, room with a king sized bed, while visiting my daughter. This is one of the better priced hotels in the area, especially if purchased online. It's location is good as it's close to a lot of the area. It is a cute place, with a tropical feel as it has a lot of landscaping... more

Our group hadn't made any reservations for this part of our trip as we had a long drive during the day and we weren't sure whether we would make it all the way to Santa Barbara. When we got there we were welcomed by some very helpful staff who managed to get us some rooms. The rooms were right by... more

We came on a Thursday and they were having a Recession-Busting Weekday deal on their website. We got a king room, walk-in shower, lcd tv, mini-fridge, microwave, pool, and hot tub for $71/night. My wife is a freak about motel rooms (she commonly brings her own blanket to sleep on top of) and she was surprised about how clean the... more

Stayed here for one night and found room comfortable but staff a little unfriendly. Not the most convenient location if you want to be close to town centre but ok for what it was (an overnight stop) more

My partner and I stayed here during August 2009 and had a very good stay. We stayed here for 3 nights whilst road tripping around America. The hotel was very good value for money and has lots of facilities that made it a great hotel. Facilities included washing facilities, microwave, flat screen tv, coffee making facilities and dvd player in... more

My wife and I stayed at the inn for 2 nights. The room was clean and well appointed but somewhat small. HDTV plus DVD player and a list of free DVD movies one can check out at the front desk. Depending on the day of the week, room rates range from $105 to $150 per night (Saturday the most expensive).... more

Stayed 2 nights. Staff were friendly. The walls were paper-thin and there was quite a lot of noise from other guests. It was also overpriced, in my opinion. Breakfast was fine. The room was a bit shabby, e.g. poor decor and the sink had a badly-repaired hole in it. We would have preferred a room with two beds, but this... more

We stayed at the Sandman for work. We got in at 2 am and check in was horrible. They did not have my name even though I know my work made sure they did. They spelled it out for them because I have a difficult name. They finally let me check in. Our room had four bugs that we saw.... more

We had booked a 2 nights stay and left after the first night. The rooms were in need of major overhaul, broken furniture being held together with screws, wood blinds with broken slats, vertical blinds with different slats on them and some broken at the bottom. This we put up with for the price the first night. The thin walls... more
