Never heard of an "amplified" continental breakfast. Stale pastry is available poolside, but you must ask for everything and watched like a hawk when you eat it. sure, they were still in process of renovating, but the room i stayed in was perfect. from carpet to linens, to bathroom...all brand new. recommend requesting a renovated room, and you will not be disappointed. best hotel for the money we had over an eight day stay in california. well worth the price. more

overpriced dumpy hotel. carpet is stained in the hallways and in the rooms. several pictures / paintings were apparently missing from the walls. shower was so small...even a 5'5" person like me had trouble showering in the short shower. didn't want to touch anything. more

Hotel is currently undergoing renovations. Main portion of hotel is closed due to renovations, but I suspect once the renovations are done, it will be a fine place.
