The Silver Surf has comfortable beds and neat, clean rooms that are neither musty nor 'perfume-y,'. Our quiet upstairs room had a balcony that overlooked a large, central grassy courtyard. This motel is nothing fancy but there are not too many reasonable choices in this area, we had no issues with the staff or our room. The staff was rude. I got put in a sub-standard room because I had a dog, even though there were lots of rooms available. The room didn't have a bath, and when I asked for a room with a bath I was told, that I didn't request a bath when I booked the room on-line, so they wouldn't move me.... More

We stayed here Saturday night on Easter weekend (April 7, 2012), after stopping at several other motels for prices. This was the best priced motel, price was just under $90 for a Saturday night.
