This hotel is terrible! We were planning on staying 2 nights and had to leave after the first night. It smelled of cheap chemicals, it gave me a headache and nausea. The decor is from the 80's and it looks like they rely on their location to charge you more than the hotel is worth. They were nice enough to... More

I was here for two nights in room 228. It was cute. Its not the Hilton but it was very clean. It was a garden room overlooking the pool. I can see the Ocean from balcony. During the day you can hear the traffic on Hwy 1 at night just the waves crashing. I left the sliding door open all... More

We only had a one night stop over here but from the time we arrived, the hotel itself and the scenary was perfect............accomodation was very clean, fresh and modern.........staff was very friendly and very helpful. Amenities including pool, Internet access, washing facilities, bar and restaurant were very good, well above what we expected. being so close to Hearst castle and a... More

The beds at this hotel are comfortable and the rooms are clean but unfortunately, the rooms smell very musty and I had to spray the room with Febreze before we could comfortably go to sleep. We only stayed one night, to see Hearst Castle the next day, but I probably wouldn't recommend this place for more than one night stay,... More

We stayed here for one night and compared to other motels we stayed along the route this was the best and cheapest!!!!! Rooms basic but clean and a small patio area with our GF room. Couldn't complain for the money!

We booked 2 nights, 4/21 and 4/22. We arrived on Saturday and had lunch at the restaurant. The food was like eating at an old truck stop. My wife was disappointed with the bacon wrapped shrimp. This was a deep fried product and not what she thought she was getting. I had the Cheeseburger that was ok. The room on... More

It is a very basic motel. We traveled with the family and paid around $200 for one family room and one standard room. We did not eat in the restaurant but we did get the coffee from there and the coffee was barely drinkable although pretty expensive.

If you drive down from san fran, this is at the bottom of Big Sur. I great place to stop after a long day of harrowing cliffs and stunning views. Then, take the inland highway back up. Great price, 2 double beds, separated into different areas in the room. Nice bathroom. Lots of space. There's no town, so it's quiet.... More

I wanted a room with ocean view but they are located at the second floor. Since I have accessibility concerns, I picked a room on the first level with direct access to courtyard, pool and gym through a patio sliding door. King bed was comfortable, clean bathroom but floor carpet smelled musty. My room had a coffee maker, no fridge... More

Yes, $50 a night... Small room in a building worn around the edges. Porous walls allowing me to hear the neighbors' movements & their pets. A shower head so low it barely reached my chin. A friendly & attentive staff. A clean room. Great location, a few minutes drive to Hearst Castle or Cambria village. The beach & ocean across... More
