Like other Hampton Inns, this is a reliable, no frills hotel. The lower end of the Hilton line, it offers a convenient place to stay for business or pleasure and is not meant to be a destination but a place to hang your hat while you're on the road. It is reasonably priced and a good value. More

I have stayed at this hotel twice. I have family in Escondido, but the Escondido hotels (Best Western, Comfort Suites), are marginal. The hotel has seen better days. Everything down to the towels is old and tired. The walls are thin and you will hear your neighbors breath. Add to this the freeway is across the parking lot. This hotel is not worth the money. Spend it elsewhere. More
