The Hampton Inn in San Luis Obispo is my new "go-to" hotel. We've stayed in many hotels while visiting our college student, and aside from beach front at Avila, this is our new favorite. Rooms are spacious and clean, and the bed is very comfortable. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Second time staying and just as pleased.

Like many of the Hampton Inn & Suites locations this is a good hotel. Rooms are a good size and clean. Beds are comfortable and service is friendly. Breakfast Buffet was more than adequate. I personally like the fresh fruit, make-it-yourself waffles and the yoghurts. SLO is a great little town with many nice shops and restaurant and easy-going atmosphere.... More

its an ok hotel, very friendly and helpful staff. It´s clean, the complementary breakfast is enough to get you going. We had a problem with the air conditioning in the room, and although the problem was addressed right away, it did not get fixed.

clean bed clothes for each new guest is a great feature of the Hilton chain and this hotel was no exception. We experienced a noisy bathroom fan and an inoperable TV however both problems were taken care of rapidly. Location is convienient and quiet

This is a relatively new hotel, so everything was clean and tidy. Our room was very comfortable and we had a good sleep and breakfast in the morning. It is a few miles away from the town center, but with a car, there is easy access to the main road into town.

(1) We had been advised to get a room on the back side of the hotel away from the freeway due to noise concerns. Good hotel if doing business with Cal Poly-San Luis Obispo. The rates were reasonable and the service was decent. Our company will stay again next time we are in the area. I give the hotel a B- overall.
