I guess for the price it's fine. It's really just a great location for the price. Kind of gross though.

Convenient location, close to museums and airport.
I booked this hotel in a rush and just trusted some good reviews however I was so disappoited and I will not stay here again. The non smoking room smelled like someone had been smoking in the room before. Even I spayed with air freshener (that kills bacteria), but the stinky smoke smell...

Rooms spacious and clean, swimming pool outside and although we didn't use it looks clean. Staff super friendly and cant do enough for you. Breakfast room newly decorated and plenty of choice for breakfast. I would definately stay here again.
First, the good - the staff during the day were excellent, very friendly and professional. And the hotel, while not in the best neighborhood, is very convenient to the convention center. Lastly, for this type of hotel, the breakfast was better than expected.
The rooms were ok, mostly clean but had seen better days. The showerhead was nearly useless, jammed...

OK, let me start by saying the day I checked in (Friday afternoon) I was greeted by friendly female staff members at the front desk. They were quick, efficient, and I was allowed to check in an hour earlier than the standard 3pm time as stated. My room was clean, although a bit worn and in need of some minor...

Barely acceptable. Front desk clerk was not dressed professionally (probably isn't paid enough). Rooms were cleaned, but not clean. Bed was adequate, but on this trip we stayed at multiple locations of La Quinta which is lower priced and they all represented a better value. The neighborhood here appeared to be "sketchy", but we were told we could walk to...

I stayed here reluctantly, but everyone else from our team had chosen to stay here. I was the only one that asked for a higher floor room and had no noise problems. I thought it was clean and comfortable. It has a little refrigerator that came in handy and all employees that I interacted with were extremely nice!
What you expect from a Ramada.
Honestly with Days Inn, Ramada and Super 8, its a hit or miss.
This one is OK, but it is an older property, a bit torn out.
But the rate was lower than nearby hotels, so thats a trade-off.
Good - not far from downtown and the San Jose Sharks arena, maybe 10-15 minutes...

Ramada San Jose could be a choice to the more pricey hotels closer to the Convention Center. Maybe better call it a motel rather than a hotel. Has free internet, free parking, room rates are better than other hotels around and is walking distance close to the University, fast foods etc, restaurants etc. City has done great efforts to revitalize...

I stayed here because I was attending a conference at the convention center. I was a little apprehensive after reading the reviews here but my experience was wonderful. The hotel has free parking and the convention center is only a couple of blocks away, maybe a 5 minute walk, if that. The room rate was reasonable and about half the...
