I've been meaning to write this review for sometime. My son was married in St. Helena last October. It was harvest and Columbus Day Weekend. Napa Valley was very crowded. Most of our wedding guests traveled cross country to attend the wedding, and I believe that every B&B and hotel in the area (St. Helena, Calistoga, Napa, Yountville) accommodated at... More

The Red Door Inn is as cozy as it is cute! We felt right at home in the middle of St. Helena thanks to the adorable inn and the lovely Sally & Sarah. We spent a few days in wine country and Sally & Sarah basically helped us map out our every move! From their favorite wineries to the "must... More

This place was a surprise for my new husband and I on our honeymoon. Sally was great, and helped us with everything she could; suggestions for day trips, food pairing, wineries to visit, etc. The location was great for seeing as many wineries and restaurants as possible, and was just a short walk to a quaint main street set up.... We decided on a B&B instead of a hotel because we wanted hospitality and a home-cooked breakfast. Unfortunately, we received neither of these things. We didn't see a single person from the time we checked in (at 6 p.m.) until we left. They hid a key for us to let ourselves in. They had forgotten to put out the welcome... More

Sally was a great host, the room was a good size and well maintained and the breakfast was superb. The weather was ropey, so unfortunately we didn't get to use the outdoor area, which was a shame. We'd recommend this as a great spot to explore Napa Valley and St Helena. More

It's true, St. Helena isn't a city but it can feel like it with the shops, restaurants, galleries, etc. available within easy walking of RDI. We stayed in the Bamboo Suite which is at the back of the property with a small deck, overlooking a lovely patio, also available to us. This suite was just the loveliest spot with lots... More

I stayed in the Bambou Room at the Red Door Inn during the last weekend of July. It was a peaceful retreat in itself. It has its own entrance, it also hosts a sitting room, a private deck, and a full kitchen! The bed was so cozy, and my overall stay could not have been more perfect. The inn is... More

My boyfriend and I had been on a hectic schedule of seeing and doign as many things possible in San Francisco so St. Helena's was our mini retreat and the Red Door Inn served as the perfect place to stay. I wasn't a fan of the Victorian style B&B's (which are in abundance in St. Helenas) This place had the... More
