We stayed at the Le Rivage prior to a training we were conducting the next morning. Sleep was essential. The hotel is very attractive, rooms are large, and the adoining restauarant was very good. What killed it was the noisy air conditioning unit. We got very little sleep, which made workt the next day difficult.

I expected more out of this place...I had to move from my first room due to low to no wifi signal. Furniture had many dings and when I returned the next day around 3:30pm housekeeping had still not been into my room. Nice setting minus the I-5 noise. My feel was the place was going through a change of management/ownership.

Our room was replete. Loved the large and pristine clawfoot tub, spaciousness of bath and room, appointments, accoutrements. Elegant contemporary. Good sound insulation. Has a fine restaurant next door (reliable Scott's) with outdoor seating, riverside, but at a bit of a distance. Our stay had weather which was too windy for that pleasure.

My family came in for a wedding and found the service initially to be excellent, the hotel and grounds are beautiful. Would give this hotel an excellent if the parking were better. Advise that you use the valet. The room was outstanding and bathroom was the best I have ever seen in a hotel. The "river" view is actually across the back parking lot then a marina then the river. The room made up for it though.

We stayed here for one night and really enjoyed it. The river view rooms are really worth the extra $25 upgrade. No extra self-parking fee. The staffs are helpful and friendly. The guest room are good sized (about 400 sq ft ?? not a suite though but well equipped). The room has mini fridge and coffee maker. ipod speaker/alarm, etc....
