We left Death Valley at 6 PM to start our drive home to San Francisco. 'Thought we'd drive through Ridgecrest to see what might be available for overnight lodging. I'm not sure what made us stop at the Comfort Inn but we were really glad we did. Big spacious room, very clean, nice bath, a welcome respite. Not only that,...

After a long journey from Vegas to the other side of Death Valley, our bookings at Panamount Springs had been mysteriously and annoyingly cancelled, with no accommodation available in the park. We had no alternative but to drive a further 65 miles to Ridgecrest arriving exhausted and disappointed. However we were greeted by a helpful and friendly Eric, who settled...

We arrived late, got a room, and tucked our three year old into bed. After we got into bed and turned off the lights, something felt gritty. Further inspection revealed unknown gritty substances, something waxy looking, and hair in our bed, and more dirt and a piece of skin in our three year old's bed. They did give us a...

Clean, convenient (right on the main drag), new bath with granite countertop and shower and tile floor. Comfy bed, actually FAST internet (5x1), fridge and microwave. A considerable step up...

This fairly new hotel was a good value. It was quiet even on the main drag. Breakfast was typical but adequate. Staff was really helpful and sincerely interested in our stay. We only spent a night but could see using this property as a base to explore into Death Valley and other High Desert sites. If you are. The area,...

We travelled with two children, 7 and 11 years of age. Great staff who were doing their utmost to make our stay a nice one. The room was clean but maybe a little worn. Pool area was small but it was there. Breakfast room was really small and easily crowded. Would I stay again or recommend it: most definitely.
