We stopped here for two nights while driving from Oregon to San Diego. The setting is wonderful. Lots of trees, overlooking the lake. The room we stayed in was basic but clean and comfortable. Everyone we met was very nice to us. More

We chose Bridge Bay for a stopping place when we saw it on the web. The location seemed perfect; half way from Portland to Yosemite. The setting is very pretty with a view of the lake under tall trees. However, the amenities for the motel rooms are minimal - no microwave, no coffee pot, no refrigerator. And the rooms are... More

On our way back from Seattle to San Francisco, we needed a place to stop for the night and we chose this resort based on the online reviews and photos on the website. We were very happy with the location which was right on beautiful Lake Shasta. But the monopoly location that this resort enjoys means that complacency has sunk... More

If you need to be near the lake, near boat rentals, don't care if the rooms smells, has mold growing in the bathroom, don't care if the TV is older than you, or paper-thin walls to hear your neighbor discussions then this is place for you. This would include the incredibly lousy food from the adjoining restaurant. The lousy accommodations... More

The location at Lake Shasta attracted us. It was off season, the restaurant has limited hours and closed just prior to our arrival. We were one of two rooms rented, thus it was quiet, if you don't mind the I-5 bridge traffic, which didn't disturb our sleep nearly as much as the bed did. The King room was very clean... More

Bridge Bay Resort is a lake resort mostly dealing with houseboat rentals and other water sports services. The motel on site is very old, and very basic. I remember this place being there when I was a child staying at another resort at Shasta. A good description of a room here is that it is like a basic one-room lake... More
