Stayed here on the way to Tahoe. Only paid about $60 but the hotel was nice. Good value. Other reviews said it was recently renovated and furnishings looked new. No breakfast, but the automatic coffee machine in the lobby makes GREAT coffee (try the vanilla on the bottom right. Sweet). more

The hotel, clearly an older property, has as noted been renovated, putting it a step higher than the similarly-priced Motel 6 nearby. The vanity/sink area (separate from the shower/tub/toilet) looks brand new and not the kind of thing you'd find in a cheap hotel. The floor in the tub/toilet area is some sort of wood-laminate. Nice place to stay if you want to visit Sacramento. For a stay during a roadtrip is also great, cause the pool was ok, the room great(with free internet), and has a lot of restaurants, and shops nearby (such as hooters, starbucks, petmarket and a great pizza place in front of the motel) more
