Just got back from a girls' weekend at the Colony Palms and had a wonderful time! The hotel has a hip, yet comfortable vibe, which made for a great, relaxing weekend. The lemon water available all day by the pool was so refreshing, and the coffee and newspapers available each morning were nice touches, too. I enjoyed reading by the... more

The Colony Palms Hotel is one of the those special places you happen upon on a rare occasion, and on each of my three stays over the last 12 months, I was hoping it wouldn't end, but all great things do. This hotel has an unparalleled beauty to it and a deep mystical soul that can not be described, only... more

The hotel itself is beautiful. The rooms, pool area, restaurant, and bar are all very nice. The atmosphere was lovely. However, the staff leave something to be desired. While they talk sweetly to your face, they will do nothing to make your stay better. The check in is 4pm. We arrived early knowing we probably wouldn't get a room until... more

I have stayed at this hotel many times while on business in Palm Springs and have always felt welcome with warm greetings by both the staff as well as the properties ambiance. The quant settings with the light music always make for a relaxing trip. If you are the travelor that enjoys comfortable beds and showers you can move around... more

Although the property is beautiful and very close to downtown we would not stay there again. Upon arrival at 3pm (check-in time) we were told that our room would not be available for 1/2 hour. We waited in the hotel bar and checked back in an hour and the room was still not ready. About 15 minutes later we were... more

We stayed here December 27-30 in Casita 8. The rooms are tasteful, but a tad on the small side. It had a nice little back patio with a jacuzzi tub big enough for one. It also had a nice outdoor lounge bed with views of the mountains. It was a little chilly to be sitting outside this time of year... more

I had such high hopes for this hotel. The property is cute and well-maintained, but it didn't offer the ammenities as adverstised. Their website advertised "jacuzzi tub outdoors" and a "two person hot tub" - obviously two different things. Before book Casita 5, I called the hotel and verfified that the room offered a "hot tub" - i was assured... more

I booked this hotel through Priceline trying to get ZoZo in Palm Springs...but got this hotel instead. Was nice but when I checked in they charged (and held funds) for the full amount of my stay. That amount was their standard rate (much higher than what I got thgrough Priceline). They never mentioned a thing regarding holding funds at the... more

The grounds of this hotel are beautiful. Very lush and serene. The room was very clean, quiet and a decent size. The bathroom had a huge shower fit for two with nice amenities. We would definitely stay here again! more

Don't be fooled by the 4 stars and some of the great reviews, the place is a fancy Motel - without a doubt. It's nice, pretty clean, nice pool, nice bar / restaurant, nice room but all nice for a motel. So if you are used to staying in upscale hotels, you will be dispappointed. Oh - also, there is... more
