Extra nice walk-in shower. When leaving, I left my wallet on the bed after leaving a tip for the maid service. We stayed in a room with king size bed and fireplace. Room was very clean, bed comfortable. Breakfast choices were limited, but certainly adequate, e.g. bagels, instant oatmeal, yogurt, coffee, orange juice. We took advantage of an off-season special to enjoy a long weekend on the coast: what a treat to find the Sunset Inn! The grounds and buildings are well-maintained and have had a wonderful "face-lift." WE were pleasantly surprised by our overall experience. The Inn is not large or new but it has been renovated and represents a great choice in the area. The location is very near the municipal golf course and Asilomar beach (walking distance). More

Great location,nicely decorated, very clean and Barbara the manager is wonderful! Have stayed in a King room w/fireplace and the King Suite with jet tub and kitchen and balcony.
