Booked this based on the price and OKAY-ish reviews on TA. Well we called to book and were surprised when they answered "Motel 6". Yes, this is now a motel 6. Despite our reservations regarding the change the lady on the phone assured us it was only a name change and was the same hotel - the Redwood Inn. We... More

my husband and I stayed at this hotel for a week because of family business. we became known to the manager and were treated well. upon our return home we received a used, home made neck pillow sent from the hotel via the freight forwarding company across the street from the hotel. this was done on my credit card and... The Napa Valley Redwood Inn is a basic motel with a swimming pool. The rooms had been recently painted, were clean and had all the required services. We were only staying for one night, prior to an early morning balloon ride and the hotel proved ideal for this purpose, however I'm not sure it would be ideal for an extended... More

We visit Napa at least once or twice per year. This was our first time staying at this hotel because the place we usually stay was booked, as were most others in the Napa Valley. For being an older hotel it was fairly comfortable. It was freshly painted and clean. The rooms are small but free of odors. The decor... More

Terrible, the rooms were old no plug in's we needed a handicap room but they would not let us since they painted the sidewalk (which was dry by the way) the motel manager maggie said she did not care how we get up the stairs or get the scooter us them. When we went back to say were not staying... More

We recently travelled from L.A. to San Francisco having pre-booked all of our accommodations. There were 5 people in our party and none of us are hotel snobs by any stretch of the imagination. Everything was great until we got to The Redwood Inn, 'AWFUL' doesn't begin to describe it. This was the most expensive out of the seven accommodations... More

While this place isn't fancy by any means (one small step above Motel 6), it is clean and comfortable. The front desk staff (the guy that took my reservation over the phone, and the older lady that checked me in) are extremely friendly! Close by to everything. I will definately stay here again if giving the opportunity.

Did I mention, DO NOT STAY HERE. I’m in no way a hotel snob and I’m generally pretty tolerant of lower end motels since I take a number of mtn bike trips/camping trips per year that include staying in smaller motels and even some hostels. … On to the review: The room had a VERY bad cigarette smoke smell which... We stayed there recently for one night. The room was adequate - clean but very, very small with two beds crammed in. Bathroom was dated and towels/linens were old and thin. We did not find any way to control the temperature of the room - other than closing the vent. Very few outlets for computer/phone chargers. We did not have... More

We go to Napa annually and are always looking for a deal. Got a low price but that was it. The rooms are tiny, the bed was like a rock, the walls are paper thin, the linens and towels worn out. Probably, overall, the worst hotel we have ever stayed in...anywhere. The only reason we did not leave was that... More
