Late day stop with no room at our first choice turned completely around by the discovery of this motel. Excellent accomodation for reasonable price and best of treatment by owner and family who live on the property. My wife needs handicap accessibility and that room was avaialbe as owner keeps this till last for best service to handicappers. Outstanding stay!

We stayed here for two nights and found the staff friendly, the rooms clean and the views delightful. Importantly there was very little noise and we slept well. D.C., Daksha and family were very helpful in organising our stay. We enjoyed ourselves so much we decided to stay on and extra night. Rates are quite reasonable; thoroughly recommend.

I stayed in Mt Shasta Inn when I visited with my family to see the solar eclipse on May 20, 2012. We found the owner, Disi, to be really friendly. He got a degree in architecture in India and he designed and built this hotel. He took good care of us.

Nicely restored post-Victorian style. Owner was very hospitable both on the phone when making reservations and in person. Good off-freeway location with a view (from some rooms) of the imposing Mt. We've stayed here several times over the past few years and have always found it to be clean, quiet, with lots of space, well-located within Mt Shasta (ie, not stuck out near the highway) and good wifi. Making a reservation unseen by phone the propriator said it was new--it certainly appeared although other reviews don't agree. We had a very large room with a sitting area, micro, and fridge with clean ice cubes. Bed, pillows and linens were good except for not using a fitted bottom sheet. I stayed here in July 2011 and July 2010. The service and management has improved, and management is much friendlier.

I've traveled to Mt. Shasta for many years and stayed at most of the motels. After a hiatus, I was delighted to return and find this new one.
