The view I had requested was not available when I arrived which didn't make me happy, however I was given a up grade to a suite and a reduction in rate during my stay, the décor is quite dated and in need of major improvements, the plumbing is terrible you can hear showers and toilets flush in the rooms adjacent... This was our first time staying in Morro Bay. We loved it! It was quiet, relaxing and very beautiful! The Embarcadero Inn was perfect! There were no king bedrooms left, so we took a 2-queen room and this was no problem. (We booked only one week in advance). Our room faced the bay and because it was on the third... More

This Inn was quaint, quiet, clean and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was on the upper level with a nice view of the bay. The hotel was within walking distance of everything up and down the waterfront. Most of all, Morrow Bay is still a working fishing village and the city father's and mother's have worked hard to keep it quaint.... More

1. All 3rd Floor rooms are full view, but you are across the street and there are buildings in the view. The rooms are "motel" like, not luxury. Hard beds, smallish TV, and a motel style bathroom. 2. The breakfast was "motel" like, but did have waffle-maker as promised. 3. The free DVD rentals were actually quite extensive and included... More

Thank you for selecting the Embarcadero Inn. Our hotel is family owned and the way it was built 27 years ago, they decided to focus more on the view so that every room faces the water, however the balconies are not conducive to smokers because the smoke travels to other balconies and into other rooms. We inform all guests at... More

Stayed here for 2 nights and was very impressed. We had a partial view 2nd floor. We had a nice view of the Harbor and the building across the street. For the price, I thought it was nice. 3rd floor full view would be ideal, and worth the extra $. Location is great- you can walk right outside and stroll... More

Their 'full' view rooms may include nothing but the buildings across the street. Buyer beware. It would be great if they could be honest with guests, explain that some rooms have water views and some do not. I don't understand what they think? Guests will show up and then see that they don't have a view. Worst yet, when expressing... More

We are so sorry your last visit to our family-owned and operated hotel was not the best experience. We take great pride in our rooms, the decor, the services provided and our staff, that we want you to know how seriously we take your comments. Our hotel was built so that certain rooms are a bit larger and located further... More

Turned up late Friday afternoon not expecting to get a room, got lucky and got a king room partial view at 5pm. The girls behind the reception were super helpful, they recommended a restaurant "window on the water" I think and also booked it for us as well. Our room was very clean, warm a welcome cosy bed ensured we... More

Great location, staff, room and service. Within walking distance to the attractions including restaurants, shopping, Marina, beach, and bars. The continental breakfast was very good and the parking was convient. Would stay there next time.
