We stayed 2 nights at the hotel. The room was clean & comfortable, however...... we left the room at about 9:30 AM the next day to go sightseeing, & returned about 3 PM to relax. The hotel has wonderful staff who strive to serve their guests. Although the queen rooms are bit on the small side, they are nicely decorated and have decent size bathrooms. Stayed in their deluxe king. It was a corner room in the back complex which is not as noisy as the ones up front. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. Was in town for the Sea Otter Regatta Oct. 10 and 11 in Monterey. So thrilled to find a hotel near the pier that welcomed dogs! Policy says only 60 pounds or fewer but Reservations Manager says this Larkspur property does not enforce the size rule.
