We went to Monterey to go whale watching and booked 2 nights at Montery Bay Inn. We booked a Park View Room. Our view was amazing. It overlooked a park, beach and we had a clear view of the ocean. The beds and pillows are fantastically downy, a sleeper's dream! We rarely have the opportunity to truly get a good night's sleep in a hotel, but this hotel proves to be the welcome exception. We stayed here for one night on our driving tour from San Fran. We had our room upgraded from a Cannery Row view to a seaview which was nice and the room itself is huge, the bathroom had 2 sinks and in the room itself, a breakfast table and two chairs... My husband and I went to Monterey for our One Year Anniversary. We decided to stay at the Monterey Bay Inn. This has got to be the best hotel I've ever stayed at in Monterey.
