We had 3 nights at the Del Monte Pines Motel and it was our first stay there. (But not the last.) The rooms are comfortable and very clean and I liked the microwave and the fridge in the room. I have stayed at Del Monte Pines twice now, and will certainly return in the future. It is clean,quiet, and quite close to downtown. At $66.00 a night, which is what I paid on my most recent visit, it is a real steal in a very expensive area. more

The cigarette burn in the middle of the gaudy bedspread of the "non-smoking room" should have been the first clue, the used shampoo bottles and the old coffee grounds in the coffee maker should have been the second and third clues should have prompted us to leave - but no, we stayed and paid way too much for an ugly... more

This is a well-located property. Rooms were clean, bathrooms newly remodeled and nice. The staff was available and accommodating. The pricing is all over the map -- sometimes a great bargain, sometimes really high. I am sure a lot of that is seasonal.
