The hotel was older but our room was very clean. Some of the decor was outdated but that didn't really bother us as we weren't there for the room. The only thing I didn't like was the bed, I felt that it was really hard and how loud the heater was when it came on. Everything else was nice and... More

We stayed one night here on our way to Yosemite in Oct. '11 coming from San Fancisco. It was close to the south end entrance of Yosemite and Mariposa Grove redwoods, but we couldn't make it into the park and our lodging the same evening. We were the last guests to arrive, the clerk was polite, the room was just... More

We have stayed here many times before. Usually a good experience. First clue of challenges this motel faced was the long check in and Three stooges routine required to get a room. Plus we got to hear the drama of one of the clerks accusing the maintenance/cleaning person of damaging her car. Our rooms had a nice view of the... More

If it wasn't for the huge influx of Western European visitors to Yosemite National Park, the whole area would be in BIG trouble - especially the motels. We stayed a couple of separate times recently at he Miners Inn in Mariposa. Soon our vacation home will e done so we won't be staying at motels in the area any longer,... More

We stayed here for a night. We went on a kind-of unplanned trip to Yosemite and couldn't get any accommodation in or right outside the Yosemite area. We chose the Miners Inn as the next best thing, and I'm glad we did. It's about 30 minutes away from the entrance to Yosemite. The rooms were very spacious and had a... More

The room was so unclean and unusable. The shower barely fitted my left leg let along a whole body! The room was very small and the air con didn't work properly. The lady at reception was most unhelpful. I wouldn't stay here even if I had to. More

Rooms are nice and clean, they have a patio too, nice decent location, safe place. Free continental breakfast with mini bagels, waffle, juice.. Quite an extensive one. Very pleased with our stay here. 1 hour drive to Yosemite valley. I would strongly recommend this hotel. More

Due to some rough weather in Yosemite, my husband, 2 daughters and I decided to check out 1 night early and travel halfway to our next stop, Monterey. We did some online research and decided on the Miners Inn Motel in Mariposa because of the pool but quickly realized we should have gone with another choice when they told us... More

I chose this place to stay because of the ratings of other reviewers. I wasn't as thrilled with it by any stretch of the imagination. The office/shop/breakfast room was tacky, the office staff on check-in disinterested. The room was average, blanket and sheets very thin from use, the bathroom fixtures old and discolored, the heating unit for the room broken... More

Hi, I just read your review and am deeply concerned as to which room/building you stayed in? If you could please email my your details I would like to investigate. I do know that we were having roof repairs done on two buildings which may have had something to do with the wifi antennas as well as the compressor units... More

Very glad we decided to stay outside Yosemite Park because that meant we had 2 nights in Mariposa (really nice friendly well-used little town) and at Miner's Inn. Really friendly, professional welcome when we checked in and same when we asked if if we could stay a 2nd night the next morning. Also great local knowledge when we needed a... More
