Be forwarned that due to it's location there is a good deal of freeway noise. You could ask for a room that faces away from the freeway but then you would miss the view. I stayed here for a week. The staff is wonderful, the food is good, the pool although it is small is nice and the rooms are fine... they have a van and a driver that can take you places in town...the hotel is right next to the highway so not too quite but convenient. more

Nicely refurbished hotel in Bel Air area. Fairly reasonable value. Good bar but overly expensive restaurant at the top. Valet charges appalling to drive about 5 metres - 20 dollars per night. Obviously plus tips. Apart from this disgraceful money making ruse, the hotel was a pleasant place to stay. more

This was the conference hotel and considering I grew up driving past the "round Holiday Inn" off the 405, I didn't expect much. I was surprised at how beautifully they've renovated it. The only gripe I have is the impossibly low water flow to the shower head. I had to get on my hands and knees to rinse the shampoo... more

This hotel is basically right in the middle of a freeway, there are no shops, bars, restaurants around it... We were told we were staying centrally, it was a $30 taxi to get into the centre (hollywood blvd) the hotel itself was basic. I stayed at the hotel angeleno this week and had a great experience. The front desk staff, particularly Edith was above and beyond in service and graciousness. The rooms were amazingly comfortable and restaurant was fantastic. All around, a stellar hotel and i will recommend the hotel Angeleno in the future. Mark Goldfarb more
