Anytime I go to Universal studios I stay at this hotel, because it is a walk away from the park. The staff is extremely attentive to my needs and I have no complaints. Eveytime I go I am able to update my room with no cost. This is my go to hotel hands down.

Checked in did not have our reservation, then gave us wrong room. Had to come down to get another room. Went to bar, ordered a drink, asked for cheesecake and hostess said it wasn't a good idea since the kitchen was backed up with orders.... I only wanted a slice of cheesecake!!!!

Stayed for five days on business. Great base for business or pleasure, 30mins from LAX and opposite universal studios. Old hotel that looks dated, rooms although clean lack maintenance with chipped bath tub, dirty carpets as some examples. At the end of the day it's mainly used as a base to explore so serves its purpose

Front desk staff were excellent to deal with. Fast check in and very professional. Was advised that the pool was not heated at this time and that the hot tub was not functioning and under repair. Wonderful customer service as we arrived having been stuck on L.A. highways for a while. Greeted with complimentary bottled water. Also the suite was lovely and spacious. Bed was very comfortable.
