Stayed here for a conference in May. It is basically the closest hotel to the LA Convention Center in what is a rather lackluster downtown LA. I came here for the Anime Expo convention in the Staples Center and this hotel was the nicest and closest hotel around for this event. I had an absolutely terrible experience at this establishment. The customer service was very sub-par and the facility felt more like a hostel than a $250/night hotel. Stayed here on Jan 2nd for a Lakers game at the Staples Center. The Center is 1 min walk away which is fantastic to avoid the crowds. It has a nice pool and a nice bar. It is located in an area with nice shops and restaurants. more
